My Joy by Michelle: From the Sewing Room

Sea Glass Pendant   Well my New Years resolution this year was to get my Etsy store back up and running. In the past I have made purses, bags, kids items and I think I did okay for just starting out. I really liked having an Etsy store and when we moved to Okinawa it got harder to keep up with it since I didn't have Joann Fabrics right around the corner. I took a little break and enjoyed the island life. My friend Lana and I and our kids spent a lot of time at the beach collecting sea glass and it go to the point that well I have a TON. So I have opened up my Etsy store again with my main feature being sea glass pendants. I will be making some bags and other items as well but the main focus will be sea glass. 

So it has been a while and I now live on the beautiful island of Okinawa, Japan. I have been blessed with some amazing friends here and this year for Christmas I made us all quilts since we had our gift exchange today I can now post pictures of our awesome quilts. We will all be able to look at these and remember the times we had on this wonderful island. My friend Marisa will be leaving us soon to go back to the states so I really wanted to give her a good going away gift but fell in love with it and had to make one for our friend Lana and myself as well.
