All for One

Naming a quilt is sometimes hard to do and other times it comes easily. The last quilt I made was a king and since I always referred to it as "The King," it stuck. This one has been harder to name; it is beautiful and fun to make, but the backstory is where the name comes from.

Jessica and I were shopping for fabric for her daughter's Christmas stocking, and came across the beautiful fan fabric that I used in the big blocks. There was only a yard and a half available, but she had to have a quilt made out of it. I spent the next 4 moths looking for it and pieces to go with it. Finally the new line came out and it still matched the old line, and we have a quilt. So since this quilt came to be, all because of one piece of fabric its name will be, "All for One."
